This world, our decisions, and sin have diminished our identity, dignity, and beauty. Our ideas, images, and views of God and humanity have also been distorted and defaced. Shame, judgment, and fear keep us hidden and removed from who God created us to be. Deeper relationships and spiritual formation develop when we are authentic and vulnerable with ourselves and others—God’s image, God’s time.

(Mark 5:25-34; Matt. 11:28-30; Eph. 2:8-10; 1Samuel 1:1-20)

We are whole persons who need whole salvation and sanctification: (mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and social). Jesus enters our whole being, inviting us into a holy union; where all of who we are glorifies all of who he is—fully human and fully God.

(Gen. 1:27; Matt. 1:18-25; Rom. 12:9-10; 1Peter 1:15-16; Eph. 1:4,19-20)

Living for Jesus can be hard! People can suck and hurt us, tasks can seem too big, the journey can look horrifying and deadly. That’s why we need each other and Jesus. We are reminded and encouraged that it is by God’s power we breathe, live, and act—He is with us!

(Joshua 1:9; Esther 4:15-17; Joshua 2; Phil. 3:7-11)

God’s will, on earth as it is in heaven, is formed through communication and celebration. Let’s have fun as God leads and reveals what that looks like for us as individuals and as a church—we are one body!

(Matt. 6:10; John 17:24-26; Mark 8:1-10; Acts 2:1-41)
