Happy Easter!
Praise God as we get to remember and celebrate His faithfulness through the empty tomb! As we enter Easter weekend, we pray that the Lord continues to reveal His resurrection power in your lives.
Here are some prompts to think and meditate over this weekend:
What new life is Jesus inviting me into?
What area(s) of my life is Jesus asking me to lay down?
Who are the people who help me abide and celebrate Jesus?
How can I be an invitation to others?
We’re excited to start United Groups!
What are United Groups?
Good question! United Groups are where we will get together, read Scripture, and share our lives. Here’s how a typical gathering would look:
Community time (food/fellowship)
Prayer time (pray for one another and others)
Scripture reading (the Gospel of Mark)
Discussion & Questions (we’ll ask the following questions each week):
Is there a word, phrase, or idea that stood out to you?
What did I learn about God the Father, God the Son, and/or God the Holy Spirit?
What did I learn about myself and/or others?
What is the Spirit inviting you into? (How can we support you?)
In your language, how could you share this story, principle, and/or truth? Who could you share it with?
Why do we have United Groups?
There are a few reasons why we have and encourage you to join a United Group:
Learn to be an authentic and vulnerable presence
Read and discuss Scripture with multiple views/ideas
Encourage and pray for one another
Our heart and goal is that more happens in our United Groups than on Sunday mornings—more Jesus, more lives being transformed, more stories being shared, more people loving and serving one another, and more united!
When?
Sunday April, 21 @ 6pm
